Gardens of Stone Multi-Day Walk - notice of intention to grant a lease

Notice of intention to grant a lease under section 151 of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974.

The proposed grant of lease is to Wild Bush Luxury Experience Pty Ltd ACN 648 431 734 to develop and operate 3 low-impact bush camps within the Gardens of Stone State Conservation Area to support guided multi-day walking experiences on the Gardens of Stone Multi-Day Walk.

The proposed lease is intended to complement the National Parks and Wildlife Service campgrounds, available to independent walkers and commercial operators registered with the Parks Eco Pass program.

The proposed lease term is 10 years plus two 5-year options (total potential term of 20 years). The proposed lease areas are within 3 of the accommodation notes identified in the Gardens of Stone State Conservation Area plan of management.

Each lease area will consist of a bush camp (accommodation and associated facilities), with structures totalling no more than 300 square metres plus connecting timber boardwalks.
